    PM Modi wants to set up a medical facility in every district in India

    Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre built on an approximately 50 acres area in S A S Nagar district of Punjab to the nation. He was accompanied by Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Union Minister Jeetendra Singh and AnandpurSahib MP Manish Tiwari. Following the hospital’s opening, PM Modi also met with patients.

    PM Modi wants to set up a medical facility in every district in IndiaA 300-bed state-of-the-art Homi Bhabha cancer hospital and research center built at a cost of approximately 684 crore rupees will enhance the effectiveness of cancer treatment in the state and provide cancer treatment services to people in northern India. PM Modi said Punjab is the land of freedom fighters, revolutionaries, and people of national spirit before he inaugurated Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre. In the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, this was reflected, he said. In addition, PM Modi thanked the people for making Har Ghar Tiranga a success.

    The Amrita Hospital of Haryana was inaugurated earlier by PM Modi. The event was attended by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and other dignitaries. A total of 2,600 beds will be available at the super-specialty hospital, which will be run by Mata Amritanandamayi Math. It is estimated that the hospital will cost around Rs. 6000 crores, and it will provide state-of-the-art healthcare services for residents throughout the NCR region.
